Manx Willow Coffins & Caskets (MWCC) is a sole trade business registered on the Isle of Man (Business Reg: 031756B), based at Shinbone, Somerset Road, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM2 5AE. We make and sell handwoven willow coffins and caskets. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@mwcc.im.

We may collect the following personal information when you contact us or place an order:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• The name of the person the coffin is for, and any details you choose to share about the arrangement.
• Delivery or collection details.
• Any other information you give us in emails, messages or conversation.

We do not take payments through this website and we do not collect card or bank details online. If we take a deposit or payment, it is arranged with you directly.

We use your personal information only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions.
• Agree a price, take an order, and arrange making and delivering a coffin.
• Communicate with you and, where you ask us to, with your funeral director.
• Keep the records we are required to keep for the work we do.

We rely on your consent and on the steps needed to carry out the work you have asked us to do. We do not use your information to send you marketing you have not asked for.

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to complete the work and to meet any record-keeping we are responsible for. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except where it is necessary to complete your order — for example with your funeral director at your request — or where we are legally required to. Anyone we work with is expected to handle your information with the same care we do.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Where we hold information electronically, it is kept on devices and services that are protected.

This website does not set advertising cookies. Any analytics or functionality used to understand how the site is used is kept to a minimum and does not identify you personally.

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. You can also ask us to stop using your information. To do any of this, email hello@mwcc.im and we will respond as soon as we can.

Our site may link to other websites, including funeral directors and reference sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
